Senior Staff Nurse

The Senior Staff Nurse is responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to patients, ensuring adherence to clinical standards, and supporting the nursing team through supervision and guidance. This role involves patient care, coordination with medical professionals, and maintaining accurate clinical documentation while upholding hospital policies and patient safety norms.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients according to physician instructions and nursing protocols

• Monitor patient health status, vital signs, and response to treatment

• Administer medications, injections, IV fluids, and other prescribed treatments

• Assist doctors during medical procedures, rounds, and emergency situations

• Supervise junior nurses, ward attendants, and support staff

• Ensure compliance with infection control and patient safety standards

• Maintain accurate patient records, nursing notes, and handover reports

• Coordinate with doctors, laboratory staff, pharmacy, and administration

• Educate patients and attendants about care procedures and recovery plans
